Xiao (b. 2000) is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the interaction between technological extrapolation and personal emotional experiences, suggesting possibilities for integrating technology and design with the human body. Xiao employs a futuring approach to speculate on how emotions and experiences evolve over time, transforming these evolutions into narrative designs, installations, crafts, and graphic design.

 在新冠疫情之后，许多人都在维持异地关系。然而，无论是爱情还是友谊，异地关系都面临着因物理距离而加剧的矛盾与挑战。人们通常依赖各种线上聊天APP来维系这种关系，但在矛盾爆发时，沟通往往变得更加困难。

本项目针对这一问题，设计了一套全新的服务，结合动作捕捉与解读，帮助异地的情侣和朋友交流与互动。

After the COVID-19 pandemic, many people found themselves in long-distance relationships. Whether it's romantic or platonic, long-distance relationships face the challenge of intensified conflicts due to physical separation. People often rely solely on various messaging apps to maintain these relationships, but when conflicts arise, communication becomes even more difficult.

This project addresses this issue by designing a new service that combines motion capture and interpretation to help couples and friends in long-distance relationships communicate and interact more comfortably.

 Together 是一系列与APP相连的互动产品。根据不同的动作指令，APP会实时更新用户的情绪状态。用户可以根据个人喜好自定义产品的材质、颜色和装饰。产品小巧便携，方便随身携带。

Together is a series of interactive products linked to an app. Based on different motion inputs, the app updates the user’s emotional state in real-time. Users can customize the products according to their preferences with various materials, colors, and decorations. The products are portable, allowing users to take them anywhere.
